From the Gundam Gaiden (side stories), Bandai brings us the stunning RX-78-5 Gundam G05 in nothing less than a Master Grade kit. Made up of 12 runners of injection plastic and one runner of polycaps, with two small sets of decals for detail, this is easily one of the most complex of the Gundam versions. Have fun putting it all together, especially that Giant Gatling. Lots of poseability thanks to polycaps at the joints.
The nightmarish Gundam GP02a, stolen at the beginning of the MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 0083 OVA, joins the ROBOT SPIRITS ver A. N. I. M. E. line! In the story, this nuclear Gundam was created in violation of the Antarctic Treaty and is sheathed in heavy armor to protect it from the atomic blasts it unleashes at its targets. Stolen by the renegade Deals Fleet, it is a formidable opponent for the Gundam GP01 throughout the series. This ver A. N. I. M. E. portrayal was created in exacting detail, designed to capture its enormous, heavy appearance while allowing stable posing. The arms feature multi-axis joints for enhanced articulation, including posable shoulder binders, while the legs are highly posable even beneath their chunky armor plating. The trademark atomic bazooka can be displayed stored inside the massive shield or deployed for action in a process replicating what's seen on-screen. The sabers include both normal and high-output types with straight and curved blades, and the grips can be stored on the waist. Display it with the GP01 (sold separately in July) to re-create dynamic battle scenes! The set includes the figure, four pairs of optional hands, a hand storage deck, a shield, an atomic bazooka, two saber effects, a curved saber blade, a high output saber effect, and two Vernier effects.
MG version of the GP03 recreates the last machine from Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory OVA with excellent proportion and includes features not seen in the animation. Elbow mounted grappling arms have been faithfully incorporated for grabbing of weapons containers while including the standard beam rifle, folding shield, folding bazooka, and beam saber equipment. An optional core fighter concept is included and can either be used in the main body housing or for display alongside the completed model.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket, a new version of the Gundam NT-1, code-named Alex re-appears in the MG line! Utilizing new inner frame structure and armor proportions, the Alex has been re-designed from the ground up and includes new features such as opening shield and armor for arm mounted Gatling guns and thrusters, broken blade antennae, and mask that was previously only seen on the SD Gundam version. All original Alex features and weapons including Chobham Armor with a hyper-realistic internal frame, beam rifle, beam sabers, hyper bazooka are included.
